The Postlewait family has been long-time user of privately owned, short-term rentals. We have seen the good, the blah, and the bad. We've also seen really bad.
We cater to business, first class travelers and those who need more than a bed, shower and TV in their accommodations. We cater to travelers looking for first-class accommodations. We know that white linens and white towels are used in hotels and resorts for a reason. From furniture to bedding to kitchen supplies, and more; we only purchase new items. If you have used short-term rentals, you likely have or will stay where furnishings were found at the neighborhood garage sale or thrift store. You would not expect that level furnishings at a five-star hotel, so why would you want that in a short-term rental?
We strive for a consistent, white-glove level of experience for our guests. We run our short-term units as a serious business, not a side hobby. That is why you will find white terry cloth towels, white bedding, and white duvet covers. We do not just throw these in our in-unit washer and dryers. We have invested in outside, professional laundry service for our linens to ensure guests have a consistent and clean experience every time they stay in a NorthPost unit.
We are also foodies. We love eating out when on the road, but we also enjoy picking up local ingredients from the market to cook our own meals. That is why each kitchen is outfitted from a restaurant supply store with quality items, not Aunt Ethel’s hand-me-down kitchen spatulas and mismatched mixing bowls. We believe in sharp knives, quality cookware, and flatware that is enjoyable to use at a meal. And we can’t forget stemware. In each NorthPost unit you will find quality wine glasses, old fashioned, and pint glasses that you would expect to find at the corner bistro.
